Whew! Good news first: Apple is not the party hacked. Not so good news: Apple indirectly confirmed that some customers’ credentials are indeed compromised through third parties. Darn! But who are those unlucky souls? They need to be notified and do something – Apple pointed out 3 tips to defeat the extortionists’ scheme.
Weirdly no mentioning of the party that the hackers took the credentials from — please drop a line if you know! It’s got to do something too, before hackers pull schnanigans again. Better yet, rate them here – best way to let them know!
